Working From Home Dressmaker Italy

How does an Italian seamstress work at home? in this video I take you backstage of my shop!

Hi guys, I’m Elena, fashion designer and retro dressmaker.

Welcome to my new video!

Today I have a tour in my workshop for you!

Subscribe on my channel and activate the bell to stay up to date on my sewing tutorials and my creative stories!

This is my corner of designing the designs, in fact this morning I designed these two models of tank top for a customer, which now I will go to cut.

This side of the table is the cutting area where I placed the model to cut the various parts together.

In this bookshelf I have a part of the library: starting from the whole history of the costume, the encyclopedias of the knit and crochet, cross stitch;

an archive box of paper patterns. Below we have some boxes with haberdashery items: ribbons, tulle, press buttons, beads, felt, cords, trimmings, elastics, velcro, webbing to make the handles of the bags, lace, applique, trimmings, zip and more;

here I have the material to paint the fabric, crochet balls, these are all fabrics.

Here I take pictures of the products to put in the shop: I prepared the base of the backdrop with a box and placed two softboxes sideways;

Here there are the cottons divided by color and type: on top there is all the polyester for the cut-out, under other boxes with haberdashery.

This is my post to make the package of my order to send it, here are the various labels to be included in the divided packages;

here is the printer, there are also various documentation for local markets; this is a box where there is inside the material to deliver the purchased item that I also bring to the market.

I received a custom order a few days ago, now I have prepared it and I’m packing it up; after I insert it in this envelope to send it.
